The Zoomer Chair can be used just about anywhere, indoors and out. It can handle a number of different terrains such as grass, carpet, dirt and more.
In most cases, yes. Check to be certain your doorway openings are at least 27" wide. Any smaller than that will require you to get off and fold the Zoomer Chair to pass through. Businesses (malls, restaurants, etc.) are required to be ADA compliant, with doorways a minimum of 32" wide—no problem for the Zoomer.
The Zoomer Chair is capable of carrying a person weighing up to 300 lbs.
While Journey Health & Lifestyle does not accept insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid directly, most of our products are FSA/HSA eligible for your convenience. You can still submit a claim to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Use the CMS-1500 form (or equivalent) and include your itemized receipt and a letter of medical necessity from your healthcare provider. If you need help with the process, your insurance company or a billing specialist can offer guidance.
The Zoomer Chair is available in only one size. See the Product Specifications section for specific dimensions. The maximum user weight limit is 300 lbs.
The Zoomer Chair is a one-handed, joystick-controlled chair. The joystick can even be installed on either side of the chair.
While many people use the Zoomer for many different reasons, the Zoomer Chair is a personal electric vehicle. If you are fully restricted to a sitting position, the Zoomer may not be for you. You must be able to get in and out of the chair.

Works well in the house but really great outdoors. Very sturdy giving you a sense of freedom with a sense of safety. Look forward to increase my time outdoors which I have missed.

A friend let me borrow his Zoomer to try out. WOW! The Zoomer is quick to learn and so easy to navigate. I love the speed control and how agilely it moves. It is also helpful that it can be disengaged to operate as a wheelchair, if needed. It's simple to charge. I can't wait to get my cupholder! The Zoomer comes with a basket, and I already got the travel cover/case to protect it. I can't wait to take it on trips and cruises. Thank you, Journey, for such a great mobility aid!

Since my car accident several months ago, I’ve been in a wheelchair. I have severe arthritis in my hands and it was difficult to move the wheels. My sister has a friend who has a Zoomer and she let me borrow it for a few days. It was exactly what I needed. We returned hers and ordered one for myself. It’s easy to use and charge! I understand that I’m entitled to a cup holder? That would just be wonderful! I sing your praises to everyone that listens.

I am 60 percent handicapped retired military and cannot walk without help. I have an older Zoomer and needed a second Zoomer that was lighter so I can do shopping and go to the doctors. I and alone now and use my Zoomer to get around the house and plan on using my new Zoomer when I travel. The new Zoomer is a little lighter and should enable me to get it in the back of my truck
