The casing box pictured is included. The terminals are securely concealed behind slots in the end closure to reduce the risk of a short. 

Perfect for air travel! At the end of the jetway, remove the Adventure Scooter battery casing box, break down your scooter, and hand it to the gate agent for cargo hold storage. Carry the battery onboard and store it at your seat, notifying flight attendants of its location*.

 

When to Replace Mobility Scooter Batteries 

If your mobility scooter battery once carried you 12 miles on a charge but now sputters out after 5–7 miles, it’s an indicator of aging cells and reduced capacity.

Sluggish Response: You notice slower acceleration or a lower top speed. Diminished peak power means your existing batteries can’t deliver the current the motor needs.

Extended Charging Times: When a full recharge drags on the internal resistance of old batteries has increased another red flag that replacement is due.

Unexpected Power Cuts: Sudden drops in power often point to weakened battery health.

Physical Signs: Swelling, corrosion on terminals, or leaking fluid around an AGM battery all signal it’s time to replace your mobility scooter battery.

What type of battery chemistry does it use? + -

It’s an AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat lead-acid) battery, the same chemistry included with the stock Adventure scooter.

The battery is 24 volts with approximately 15 Ah capacity, designed to deliver reliable power and range similar to the original Adventure scooter battery.

The replacement Adventure Scooter battery weighs 20 lbs.

On the Adventure scooter, this battery typically supports up to about 12.4 miles of travel per charge under normal conditions same as the original battery performance.

A fresh, healthy battery restores your Adventure Scooter’s expected range and power, especially if your old battery has diminished capacity due to age or deep discharges.

The Adventure battery is designed to meet airline standards for battery transport if removed from the scooter but always check with your airline for specific policies.

We recommend to use the same type of replacement (AGM lead-acid) and capacity as the original to avoid performance or safety issues.

Use the charger that came with your Adventure Scooter. Charge after each use and avoid deep discharge.

For best performance, a full charge right after installation is recommended often overnight (8–14 hours) after a full day’s use.

Charge regularly and store your Adventure Scooter in a cool, dry place. Avoid letting the battery sit discharged for long periods and inspect connections periodically.
