When to Replace Mobility Scooter Batteries 

If your mobility scooter battery once carried you 12 miles on a charge but now sputters out after 5–7 miles, it’s an indicator of aging cells and reduced capacity.

Sluggish Response: You notice slower acceleration or a lower top speed. Diminished peak power means your existing batteries can’t deliver the current the motor needs.

Extended Charging Times: When a full recharge drags on the internal resistance of old batteries has increased another red flag that replacement is due.

Unexpected Power Cuts: Sudden drops in power often point to weakened battery health.

Physical Signs: Swelling, corrosion on terminals, or leaking fluid around an AGM battery all signal it’s time to replace your mobility scooter battery.

    Safe, no matter how far I need to go.

    Last year I ran out of power partwaythrough the pride parade. That won’t happen to me this year because I’ll have my spare battery with me. I love my So Lite Scooter because it allows me all the mobility I need to get around my neighborhood. I just wish the basket by the foot plate was removable, but that’s just being picky!

    Will this be available by Christmas I want to get a battery for my mom as a christmas last Christmas I got my mom a scooter journey so lite and it take this battery my mom loves her Christmas gift now I won’t to get her a battery for this Christmas comes up ?

    I love how long the battery last I have two of them so that I could go to Disneyland and not have to go back to the hotel to charge the battery. If I wanna spend from opening to closing there it is wonderful. It goes so fast I can keep up with everybody and a head, I went to the mall with the time the family when I got in I went from one end the mall to the other. I’ve been able to check out all the stores Before the family walks through one 😂😂it’s made it so I can get out and do things. By the way, I’m 84 years old. I said to my son-in-law, did you take a picture? He said you were going too fast it would’ve been blurry.🤣🤣🤣
