Everybody needs help lifting sometime because many of the things we handle, transport or move about each day can be too bulky, too heavy or just too hard on the back for comfortable lifting. Moving folding scooters and power chairs in or out of a vehicle, for instance, might be awkward and taxing...but this simple-to-use, battery-operated So Lite Portable Lift is a helpful tool in solving the problem. Using the simple two-button remote, you can automatically lift objects as heavy as 100 lbs and raise them to a desirable level for transfer. For easy, safe rolling, there are locking castors with anti-tip legs; and safety straps to secure in place whatever you're transporting. When you're done, the innovative "scissors" design allows the So Lite Portable Lift to collapse to nearly flat for ease of storage—whether in your home or in the trunk, hatch or backseat of most vehicles. The included onboard 24V 5Ah lithium-ion battery provides up to 200 uses on a full battery charge. You can even use this portable lift around the house for lifting laundry baskets, luggage, groceries, mulch—any object with more heft or girth than you're comfortable lifting. The lifter itself weighs a mere 26.5 lbs, with a frame made of industrial strength aluminum alloy.

Can the So Lite Portable Lift be easily stored away?

The only part of the lift that requires special storage consideration is the battery. Do not store the battery in freezing temperatures as this will cause accelerated discharge and reduce the battery life-cycle. The battery can be easily removed for long-term storage.

The So Lite Portable Lift will require only a few simple steps out of the box before you can use it. Included with the lift is the battery, charger, battery pouch and hand-control.

The So Lite Portable Lift can pushed about easily as long as there is nothing on top of it. We do not advise pushing it around while there is something on top of it.

Does the So Lite Portable Lift come with a battery?

Yes, the So Lite Portable Lift comes with a detachable li-ion battery.

Does the So Lite Portable Lift need to be attached to my vehicle?

The So Lite Portable Lift's name says it all. As the name implies, it is a stand-alone lift weighing only 28.6 lbs and is designed to fit in the trunk of most cars, SUVs, crossovers, vans or trucks. It will even fit in the back seat of your vehicle secured with a seat belt.

How many lifts will a fully charged battery handle?

On a single charge, the battery can handle up to 70 lifts. This will vary depending on the product's weight that is being lifted, usage habits and ground environment.

How long will the battery last before needing to replace it?

The short answer is up to 500 charges, but it depends on the usage and conditions. On average the battery has lasted for several years for many of our customers.

How long does it take to charge the battery?

Charging the battery takes 3-4 hours or less depending on the level of power already used.

How do I know if I need to charge the battery?

The hand-control light will not turn on when it needs to be charged, or when you notice that the lifting speed becomes very slow.

Is the battery included in the weight of the So Light Portable Lift?

Yes, 28.6 lbs includes the weight of the battery. The So Lite Portable Lift weighs 26.5 lbs without the battery.

Will the charger work in foreign countries?

Yes. The charger will operate on 100 V or 220 V, but you will need an inexpensive plug converter to fit the outlets of your foreign destination.
